Boat excursion along the Adriatic coast
Our three-hour itinerary is one of the most captivating in Salento — a perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and crystal-clear waters. Along the way, we make several stops to swim, sunbathe, and soak in the breathtaking scenery of the Adriatic coast.
Departure from San Foca
The excursion departs from the tourist port of San Foca, a popular destination on Salento’s Adriatic side, just a few kilometers from Torre dell’Orso (2 km), Otranto (16 km), and Lecce (about 20 km).
Heading south: caves, towers, and sea stacks
We sail south towards Roca Vecchia, an ancient fortified town. Weather permitting, we’ll stop at anchor for a swim to the famous Grotta della Poesia, one of the most stunning natural pools in Europe.
The journey continues to Torre dell’Orso, known for its fine silver sand beach, dramatic cliffs, and coastal caves, including the evocative Grotta della Monaca.
The final stop is dedicated to one of the most iconic sights on the Salento coast: Le Due Sorelle, two twin sea stacks rising from turquoise waters, wrapped in legend and wonder.

Continuing toward Otranto
As we follow the coastline toward Otranto, the excursion reaches Torre Sant’Andrea, one of the most scenic spots in Salento. Here, the landscape becomes wild and dramatic: from the sea, you can admire majestic sea stacks, carved by wind and waves — true symbols of nature’s strength.
The journey then takes us to Conca Specchiulla, a stretch of coastline known for its sheltered coves, perfect for a relaxing stop. It’s the ideal moment to enjoy an aperitif on board, surrounded by the deep blue sea and the scents of the Mediterranean scrub.
Swimming stops
Two swimming stops are planned during the excursion, chosen based on weather and sea conditions. Guests are welcome to suggest preferred spots, which will be confirmed by the captain after evaluating safety and feasibility according to wind and current conditions.
